Keeping You in Check

While driving, Cooba often asks one question that keeps me in check:

“Dad, are you going the speed limit?”

He asks that question when I’m going “too slow” or if he thinks I’m going “too fast.”  But no matter what the answer is, I’m always sure to tell the truth.  Even if he isn’t going to like the answer…

The Takeaway.

We all need someone to ask the tough question to keep us accountable.

Who is that person in your life?

  1. My wife and my kids do this for me. But I also have a friend, Dave, who helps by asking the “tough” questions.
